Alek is the certified independent technician behind Revbit. With over 15 years of hands-on experience he brings both dealership-level expertise and the personal service of a local business. He’s a BMW and Lexus certified, factory-trained tech since 2008, and equipped with professional diagnostic tools to handle everything from routine maintenance to check-engine lights and electrical issues.

Every vehicle has different maintenance needs depending on mileage, driving habits, and manufacturer guidelines. Instead of guessing, we can look up the exact recommendations for your specific make and model using our diagnostic system. That way, you’ll know what services are due, what can wait, and how to keep your vehicle reliable and running longer.

Common signs include lower gas mileage, rough running, or the check engine light coming on. While the owner’s manual lists mileage-based intervals, most people don’t have time to sort through that. We’ll check your vehicle’s history, use our diagnostic system, and tell you exactly what’s needed.

Synthetic motor oils are the best choice for your engine, but even they have limitations. The synthetic oil additives start to break down as soon as the oil heats up to high temperatures. The engine in your vehicle will reach over 200 degrees every time you drive it, sometimes even 250F. History has proven that the 5,000 mile mark is a good interval to have your engine oil and filter replaced.

There are many sensors and computerized components that manage your vehicle’s engine performance and emissions. When one of these fails, the “check engine” light is illuminated. Although your car may seem to run fine, it is important to have the issue addressed to prevent long-term problems.

This is a very serious problem – if your car overheats for too long, you can damage your engine. As soon as possible, find a safe place to pull off the road and shut the engine off! Do not attempt to check the fluid level in the radiator; the hot fluid can cause severe burns. The best thing to do is have your car towed.

This usually means your brake rotors are warped. Rotors can warp from heat buildup during braking, or if wheels weren’t tightened evenly or the hub wasn’t cleaned properly during a brake job. When this happens, you’ll feel shaking in the steering wheel and pulsing in the brake pedal, especially at higher speeds. If everything else checks out ok, then the safest fix is to replace both the pads and rotors together — warped rotors can’t be trusted long term, and new pads ensure even wear and proper braking performance.

Yes. When the red triangle warning appears on Toyota and Lexus hybrids, it often points to hybrid battery issues. At Revbit, we can diagnose the problem and replace individual failing hybrid battery cells rather than the entire battery pack. This approach saves you money while keeping your vehicle reliable, without the high cost of a full battery replacement.

If only! We’ll listen and give you the best advice we can, but sooner or later the wrenches have to come out.
